It’s the first anniversary of the release of Unstable Orbits. I know, I know. Tell me about it.
To celebrate, I’ve temporarily reduced the price of the Kindle book to 99p in the UK, and 99c in the US. For one week only! This deal ends on Monday 22 June at a time known only to the Amazonian gods, but likely 9am BST and 8am PDT.
Incidentally, the audiobook is also available at a massive discount: £3.47, which is 85% off the usual price. (Audible sets prices for audiobooks: I have absolutely no control over pricing here. Mad, isn’t it?)
I’m backing up the Kindle promotion with a small ad campaign on Meta in the UK. Ads will appear on Facebook and Instagram, I believe.
It’s fair to say I’m pleased with the response so far. These are the rankings at time of writing:

That’s amazing. And it’s only day 2 of the promotion. I’d love to hit #1 on a list, or break 10k in the Kindle Store overall.
What’s missing are ratings and reviews. If you’ve read Unstable Orbits (or any of my books), please give it a rating. If you want, add a review – just a sentence will do. This “social proof” matters to the Amazon ecosystem of string and pulleys and cardigan-encrusted algorithm twiddlers which decides how and when to promote books, and people use the raw numbers to decide whether to gamble on a book by an author they don’t know.
The more ratings, the more likely the sale.
Meanwhile, subscribe to my posts to discover the title of my next book – and more – before anyone else. Very soon.
