Unstable Orbits audiobook released

I’m thrilled to announce that the Unstable Orbits audiobook is now available for purchase on Amazon and Audible (Apple Books/iTunes will follow).

As is the way with these things, there are multiple marketplaces. These links work at time of writing:

It’s 10h 49m 45s, if you’re counting. I’m the narrator. I loved performing the book — especially Roscoe — and I hope I’ve done it justice.

Here are a couple of extracts (YouTube as I can’t upload mp3 here):

Part of a scene from chapter 1 of the book, where the narrator Nate meets Preston for the first time. Here, they’re deep in conversation about Nate returning to school to repeat Year 13.

Part of a scene from chapter 1 of the book, where Nate’s being nagged by Roscoe, the owner of the bookshop where he works.

Part of a scene from chapter 1 of the book, where Nate and his boyfriend Luke are bickering.

As ever, word-of-mouth marketing and reviews are key to making any headway in the audiobook market. If you enjoy Unstable Orbits — in ebook, paperback or audiobook format — please tell your friends, share on social media, and leave a review or even a simple rating. It all helps.

The audiobook varies very slightly from the alphabetibook in a few places to account for the format. I tweaked a couple of lines in which an Irish name is used, for example.

There is one known mistake in the audiobook. It’s extremely minor, and identifying it is left as an exercise for the listener. If you find any mistakes, let me know on social media or in the comments here. (I’ve also released an updated version of the ebook/paperback to fix a typo and adjust some formatting — nothing significant.)

I hope you enjoy the audiobook as much as I enjoyed recording it. Should I make more? Which of my other books would you like to hear? Let me know.
